Somalia has accused Kenya of “political and security interference”, says the move is “regrettable” and not helpful for the relations.

In an online statement by Somalia suggested that Kenya is using contingent in African Union ( AMISOM) mission to “interfere domestic politics and distablise security” of Somalia.

Within the past week, a regional minister Abdirashid Janan who escaped from Mogadishu detention arrived in Nairobi as Amnesty International asked Kenya for his arrest, forcing him to briefly enter Beled Hawo across border.

However, the arrival of government troops forced Janan to flee again into Kenya, according to local residents.
