Somalia’s President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed and his premier Hassan Ali Khaire have attended the burial for mayor of Mogadishu.
Mayor Abdirahman Osman was laid to rest in Mogadishu on Sunday after his body was brought from Doha to Mogadishu.
He died due to a suicide attack on his office that was claimed by al Shabaab.
Somali armed group al-Shabab regularly targets places frequented by government officials in Somalia and also neighboring Kenya.
