MOGADISHU, Somalia – Two suicide explosions followed by heavy bursts of gunfire have rocked Somali capital Mogadishu, a witness said.
The first explosion occurred near a security checkpoint at Sayidka junction in Mogadishu as Somali lawmakers were leaving parliament building.
The 2nd explosion went off after security forces intercepted a car bomb at KM4 area in the capital of Mogadishu, a witness, who asked to be anonymous, said.
