MOGADISHU – A Somali police officer was shot and killed by another policeman at a checkpoint near Dabka junction in the capital of Mogadishu.
The victim whose name has been released as Abdiwahab Aden was killed around 4 am Saturday after detained 3 police officers for ‘discharging’ guns shortly before his killing a policeman said.
He says Aden was in charge of investigations at Waberi district of Mogadishu.
The killers fled from the crime scene.
Somali police launched an operation to hunt down the killers.
