MOGADISHU, Somalia – The Special Representative of the Chairperson of the AU Commission (SRCC) for Somalia, Francisco Madeira has held talks with Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, H.E. Qin Jian, in Mogadishu.
Amb. Madeira says he and Qin Jian discussed the latest progress made in Somalia and security situation, despite attacks by al Shabaab.
“I held a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, Qin Jian, in Mogadishu. We discussed the progress in Somalia and the security situation”.
He says the meeting was also discussed other matters of mutual interest to China and the African Union mission in Somalia.
