MOGADISHU, Somalia – At least 8 people have been wounded, some seriously in bomb explosion in Boaso town in north of Somalia.
The bomb attack took place outside a court compound in the town, leaving 8 people wounded, a witness said.
He says soldiers were among the victims.
The victims were rushed into hospital.
No group has claimed the responsibility for Saturday’s explosion in the Bosaso, a port city in Somalia’s Puntland state.
But, such attacks are often carried out by al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab and Islamic Sate groups in the region.
The attack comes a day after US military claimed to have killed 17 Islamic State fighters in two air strikes carried out in north of Somalia.
