Somalia: At least 3 injured by explosion in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU, Somalia – At least three people have left wounded in roadside bomb explosion in Somali capital Mogadishu.

The explosion went off in Howlwadag district of Mogadishu, leaving three civilians wounded, a witness said.

He says the victims were taken into hospital.

Somali security forces arrived at the scene of the explosion and carried out an operation.

No arrests have been made so far.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Monday’s explosion.

The attack comes a week after two people were killed and 15 others wounded in suicide explosion near police academy in Mogadishu.
