MOGADISHU, Somalia — Somali Police Forces have arrested an alleged Al Shabaab assassin after he shot and killed a government soldier in Somali capital Mogadishu.
Police says the suspect was forced to surrender after a tip from the public surrounded the assassin.
The assassination took place in Daynile district of Mogadishu.
The suspected Al Shabaab assassin was taken into police station for further investigation.
Mogadishu has seen a deadly week attacks which left dozens dead, with those attacks claimed by Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab.
