Somali police officer survives bomb attack in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU, Somalia — A Somali Police officer survived apparent assassination attempt after an explosive fitted into car exploded in Somali capital Mogadishu.

Colonel Omar Bile was unharmed as the explosion went off at Maka Al Mukara road in the capital while he was in nearby shop.

No one was killed or injured on Thursday’s bomb attack in the capital.

The attack comes a week after suicide attack killed at least four people and injured nine others in Somali capital Mogadishu.
