MOGADISHU, Somalia –Somali armed group Al Shabaab claims to have carried out mortar attack on African Union troops’ base in Jalalaqsi town of Hiran region.

The group claimed through its website that its fighters had killed at least 5 Djiboutian soldiers serving under African Union mission known AMISOM.

There was no immediate comment from AMISOM over the claims.
