MOGADISHU, Somalia – Two people have been killed and two others injured in roadside bomb explosion and an assassination in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, police and witness said.
The explosion targeted a vehicle carrying government soldiers in the city’s Hodan area in the capital, leaving a soldier dead and injured two others, a witness said.
He says the victims were immediately rushed into hospital.
Meanwhile, a Somali police officer was shot and killed by gunmen near the biggest marker in Somali capital Mogadishu, a policeman, Hussein Mohamed said.
No group says it carried out the attack.
