Ethiopian Parliament today ratified a resolution that would rescind the designation of OLF, ONLF, and Ginbot 7 as terrorist organizations.
The Parliament passed the resolution unanimously.
The Council of Ministers submitted the resolution to the Parliament for ratification last Saturday in accordance with to proclamation No.652/2009.
The Parliament is also expected to approve 2018/19 budget on Friday in the presence of Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed.
The Council of Ministers proposed the budget for the upcoming Ethiopian fiscal year to be more than 346.9 billion birr, showing 3.6 billion birr increase compared to the preceding fiscal year.
Of the total, 91.67 billion birr is allotted for regular expenditure, 113.63 billion for capital expenditure, 135.6 billion birr for regional subside and 6 billion birr for SDGs.
