MOGADISHU — A Somali military soldier armed with AK-47, has allegedly shot and killed police officer earlier on Tuesday in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.
The deceased man, whose name has been released as Mahad Ibraahim Omar was gunned down by soldier at hime him in Elasha area, some 15km away from Somali capital.
The motive of the killing remains unknown.
The killer reportedly fled from the crime scene uncaught.
Somali security forces arrived at the area and launched an investigation over the murder.
