MOGADISHU, Somalia – Unknown gunmen, thought to be Al Shabaab fighters have on Saturday shot and killed two Somali security soldiers in the capital of Mogadishu.
The soldiers were assassinated by two men armed with pistols at biggest market in Somali capital, while on duty, a witness said.
He says the soldiers had clash with the gunmen before being shot dead.
A civilian passer-by was also killed during the clash, he said.
The killers escaped from the crime scene, shortly after carrying out the assassination.
No group has claimed the responsibility for the killing.
