Deadly explosion kills Yemeni Embassy official in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU, Somalia – A Yemeni Embassy official has been killed when bomb explosives fitted into his car, has exploded in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.

The victim, whose name has been released as Sheikh Nur Odei died after the explosion happened in the city’s Shibis area, relatives said.

The dead body of Sheikh Nur was taken into Criminal Investigation Department in Mogadishu for further investigations, according to relatives.

It is unclear why Sheikh Nur was targeted.

No group says it carried out the bomb attack in Somali capital Mogadishu.
