Somalia: Roadside explosion kills 3 people in Mogadishu

JOWHAR – At least three people have been killed and four others injured in roadside bomb explosion near Jowhar town, some 91km south of Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.

Two soldiers were among those killed in the bomb attack targeting at security checkpoint in Hansholei area near the town, a witness said.

He says the victims had been taken into hospital for medical treatment.

Tens of security forces launched an investigation over the attack.

No arrests have been made over the incident, according to residents.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Saturday’s explosion near Jowhar town.
