MOGADISHU – Unknown gunmen have shot and killed a renowned elder in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, witness said.
The victime whose name has been released as Ahmed Cabdulle Jim’alle was gunned down by young men armed with pistols in the capital on Saturday, a witness said.
The killers fled from the crime.
Somali security forces arrived at the scene and launched an operation relating to the incident.
No group has so far claimed the responsibility for the killing in Mogadishu
