Members of parliament on the defense and internal affairs committee have paid a courtesy call on the African Union Mission in Somalia.
Led by the Minister of State of Defence for General Duties Colonel Charles Engola, the legislators also met with the senior leadership of AMISOM, which is overseeing all security activities within the region.
Engola commended the AMISOM team for the work that it’s undertaking to maintain peace within Somalia and the entire region.
