The Forum for National Parties (FNP) leadership Sheikh Sharif Ahmed and his party team – Hassan Sheekh Mohamud’ have arrived on Sunday in Baladweyne town, one of the worst flood-hit cities in Somalia.
Sheikh Ahmed and Mohamud, two ex presidents accompanied by members of country’s lawmakers also visited flood-affected families in the town.
Over 230,000 people were displaced by extraordinary floods.
The visit comes a week after the FNP leadership announced that it donated $200K to the families affected by flooding in Somalia.
