Somali President Mohamed Abudllahi Mohamed has arrived in flood-hit town of Beledweyne, some 330km north of the capital, Mogadishu.
President Mohamed walked through flood waters to meet residents affected by the crisis.
Nearly 60,000 residents were displaced by ongoing floods.
