Ahlu Sunna hands over its soldiers Somalia

MOGADISHU, Somalia The Ahlu Sunna group has handed over its soldiers to the Federal government of Somalia on Tuesday after a brief hand-over ceremony held in Dhusamareb town.

The ceromony was attended by Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire and country’y military chief commanders.

Ahlu Sunna is Somalia-based paramilitary group consisting of moderate Sufis fighting against al Qaeda linked al Shabaab and to prevent strict Sharia and Wahhabism from being imposed.
