MOGADISHU – Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire and the current leadership of Galmudug state Ahmed Du’alle Guelleh have signed a new political agreement, ahead of regional state presidential election.
The two leaders held productive talks on June 27 in Adado town, discussing on upcoming state elections, reconciliation, and political differences between the Federal government and Galmudug state administration.
Mr. Khaire and Guelleh agreed resuming process reconciliation and elections, a bid to form a united state for Galmudug.
The two sides also agreed Galmudug State to plays a role in the reconciliation and elections in collaboration with the interior ministry of Federal Government of Somalia.
