MOGADISHU, Somalia – A deadly inter-clan fighting broke out between two armed militias in Hiran region of central Somalia, leaving 9 people dead.
The fighting flared up when armed militias launched an ambush attack on a civilian bus with passengers in Warardhere area, some 60km south Mataban town, according to residents.
They [residents] said nine people, including combatants, were killed in the fighting.
Tension between the rival groups has been building up high in the area.
