MOGADISHU, Somalia – Somalia’s semi-autonomous state of Puntland has announced to have suspended cooperation with Federal government of Somalia on areas of constitutional reviews, Federal elections, and national security.
In a statement released by Puntland said it would not recognize laws approved by Federal government, citing failure to sign a cooperation agreement between Somalia and its state members during Garowe meeting, which was held on May 5 – 11, 2019.
