The training, which started on Thursday at the mission headquarters in Mogadishu, is being done by a team of officials from the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa, and the Secretariat for the Training for Peace Programme.

Maj. Gen. Francis Okello, the Chief of Plans and Operations Unit in the AU Peace Support Operations Division, PSOD, said the interactive training would enable the senior leadership team capitalise on gains made and delivery of the AMISOM mandate.
