Somali officials recieve training course from FBA

The State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Abdulkadir Ahmed-khair Abdi, concluded on Wednesday in Mogadishu a training program on policy-making and diplomatic leadership organized by Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) for developing the skills of Senior Officials at the Foreign Ministry and some governmental institutions.

The training program, which lasted from December 2 to 4, was inaugurated at a ceremony in Mogadishu on 1 December by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Isse Awad.

The training was attended by some of the directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and some of the staff in the offices of the President and the Prime Minister. It is part of a series of trainings and workshops to be held in Mogadishu as planned and will be offered to the directors, their deputies, heads of sections and desk officers at the Foreign Ministry.

His Excellency Abdulkadir Ahmed-khair said that the continuation of such training and holding various workshops for the training of diplomats and employees in the ministry may raise their efficiency and develop their performance in providing better service to citizens, pointing out to provide them with all possible support to achieve the highest success rates of government work in all sectors and directorates.
