MOGADISHU – Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Amb. Ahmed Isse Awad received on Tuesday Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Federal Republic of Somalia, Qin Jian in Mogadishu.
The meeting focused on discussions on ways to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries and the two friendly peoples.
Referring to the depth of Somali-Chinese relations, the
Somali FM praised Chinese scholarships for Somali students and training programs for diplomats and federal government civil servants to develop their skills, performance and services to the people.
He also called for broad cooperation and investment in various fields of development for the reconstruction of the country.
