MOGADISHU, Somalia – Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed has verbally attacked on political oppositions, who routinely criticize his government’s activities.

Mohamed accused the current political oppositions of filing politically motivated accusations others to international community, a bid to create chaos.

He says the politicians aimed to disintegrate his government while speaking on religious conference held in Mogadishu.

Mohamed advised the politicians to abandon “grazing his government” for the sake of delivering incendiary words.

Mr. Mohamed also urged the religious leaders to take part possible dialogue between the Federal government of Somalia and al Qaeda linked Al-Shabaab.

Al-Shabab, an al-Qaeda-linked group, has been fighting for more than ten years in Somalia.

The group wants to overthrow the weak UN-backed government in Somalia and impose its own strict interpretation of Islamic law.

It has lost control of many towns and cities to a 22,000-strong African Union force supporting the government.

But the group still has a strong presence in many rural areas.
