MOGADISHU, Somalia – The Minister of Foreign Affairs Amb. Ahmed Isse Awad, received Chargé d’Affaires of the Ugandan Embassy to Somalia, Major General Nathan Mugisha.
The talks were held at ministry headquarters in Mogadishu.
The meeting touched upon the various aspects of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues of mutual interest.
Earlier, Nathan Mugisha held talks with Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed after presenting his credentials at state house in Mogadishu.
Uganda has troops operating under African Union mission in Somalia known as AMISOM.
