MOGADISHU — Somalia has sent heartfelt condolences to Tanzania and its people after 100 people were killed in boat capsized off on Lake Victoria
Dozens still missing over the sinking of the MV Nyerere ferry on Lake Victoria while carrying hundreds of people, leaving over 100 people dead.
In a statement, Somali Foreign Ministry said, it had shared its thoughts and solidarity with Tanzania over the latest tragic boat mishap.
“We share our solidarity are with the families and individuals affected in this tragic event”, Somali FM said.
However, Somalia says it stands steadfastly with the people and Tanzania at the difficult time.
