Somali PM visits injured MP Borow in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU — Somali PM Hassan Ali Khaire has paid a visit on Sunday to wounded lawmaker, who was hospitalized at Erdogan hospital runs by Turkey in the capital of Mogadishu.

Khaire accompanied by and some his ministers and other lawmakers met with MP Mohamed Mursal Borow, after he was injured in bom explosives fitted into his car that exploded near National Theater in the capital.

Mr. Khaire has strongly condemned the attack claimed by Al Shabaab, which seriously injured Hon. Borow and killed his driver on Saturday night, while driving near Presidental Palace in Mogadishu.

He expressed his condolences to the families and colleagues Borow’s driver.

Somali PM wished the injured lawmaker Mohamed Mursal Borow a full and speedy recovery.

The bomb attack was claimed by Al-Qaeda linked Al Shabaab group.

Al-Shabab, which is fighting to overthrow Somalia’s government, routinely stages attacks.

The group was pushed out of Mogadishu in 2011 by Somali troops backed by African Union soldiers.
