MOGADISHU – Somali-based group of Al Shabaab has launched mortar attack on Kenyan army camp in small town of Gedo region.
The group says its fighters had fired 7 mortar rockets at camp run by Kenyan forces, serving under African Union mission Somalia.
The camp located in Fah fahdhun town as the group claimed to have killed at least 3 senior Kenyan military officials in the shelling.
Kenyan military officials in Somalia were unavailable to reach on the phone for comments on the claims.
