Somalia: Five people killed by gunmen in Warsheikh

MOGADISHU – At least five civilian people have been killed after gunmen opened fire on civilian minibus in Warsheikh town, some 150km away from Somali capital Mogadishu.

The tragedy shooting happened Du’ar area in the town, leaving five people on board, according to a witness, who asked to be anonymous, because of reprisal attack on his life.

The killers have immediately escaped from the crime scene.

The reason of attack remains unknown.

Tens of Somali security forces arrived at the spot and launched an operation over the killing.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Monday’s shooting in the town of Warsheikh.
