Somali president returns back to Mogadishu

MOGADISHU – The President of Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has returned back to Mogadishu on Monday after attending the 29th Arab league summit held in Saudi’s Al-Dahran.

Mr. Mohamed shared with the Arab league heads of state on the latest achievements of his government, urging Arab league members to work with his government for restoration of Somalia.

President Farmajo reminded the Arab leaders of the importance of unity and cooperation as the region is at critical state and the only way to emerge out of it, is unity and respect to the sovereignty of each nation.

He requested the Arab league members to fulfill the promises and decisions made to support Somalia in the previous summit and to facilitate goods from Somalia in the Arab markets.

Heads of State leaders reiterated their support to Somalia and its people during the 29th Arab league summit held in Saudi’s Al-Dahran.
