MOGADISHU – At least four people have been killed and several others injured in suicide car bomb explosion near Somali parliament headquarters in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.
Sunday’s explosion went off at security checkpoint near the country’s parliament complex in the capital, leaving 4 people dead, a witness Hussein Mohamed said.
“I saw bodies of 4 people shortly after car bomb detonated at security checkpoint”, Mohamed said.
The explosion also destroyed cars and motorbikes.
Rescue workers reached at the scene of the bomb explosion to carry victims into hospital.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Sunday’s suicide explosion in the Somali capital.
