MOGADISHU – Two people – father and his son have been found dead near Bardere town, some 400 km southwest of Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.
The victims, whose names have been indentified as Abdi Hashi Abdulle and Farhan Abdi Hashi were kidnapped by gunmen in earlier this year.
In phone interview, local residents said that the two men had been abducted and being taken into unknown location, after hooded gunmen broke into their house in Sarinlei area.
“We have gotten their dead bodies in Fahfah-dhun area, about 8km from Bardere town. We don’t know the reason that they were kidnapped and then killed”, residents said.
The incident sparked fear and panic among the communities as Sarinlei villages have deeply concerned about ruthless abduction and murder of these two men near Bardere town, some 400 km southwest of Somali capital Mogadishu.
